I am a visual designer, photographer and videographer with 33 years experience in the sports and entertainment industries. I became a freelancer while attending a vocation focused middle and high school where I received 6 years of education in graphic design, traditional still and film photography.
While working professionally in the communication arts business I have formally taught dozens of seminars, provided one-on-one tutoring and consulted professionally for numerous companies. My teaching method focuses on the principals of design, not simply the manipulation of computer software. So my tutoring method focusing on putting those principles to work in real life, learning how to create visual designs before sitting down in front of a computer.
As an independent creative professional I have had the privilege to work with clients ranging from Adidas, TaylorMade Golf, Sundance Institute, and the Sundance Film Festival. In addition, I volunteer as a documentary style photographer and film maker for a world-wide non-profit educational organization.
