For the past seven years I've tutored math, English and essay writing online. Prior to that I taught school for over 25 years at all grade levels including college level courses. I especially enjoy working with students who either need new ways to learn a topic or have gaps in their knowledge on a topic. I also enjoy helping people get their thoughts written down as clearly and succinctly as possible. I've had my own editing and proofreading business for the past three years plus I have a lot of experience writing and grading papers at the university level which helps me to guide students with their writing. In terms of editing papers for students, I do prefer to arrange with the students how much time I will spend on the editing and how I will charge for it. Plus I do have a policy of charging for missed sessions if it's not an emergency and I don't receive 24 hour notification of the cancellation. If you think you will need to reschedule please contact me as soon as possible to make arrangements. Online tutoring can really work well for both the student and the tutor as it allows us to meet at all sorts of times and from various time zones.
