I have a Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences from UC Irvine and 2 Master's Degrees, both in Education. I specialize in teaching diverse learners (Special Education), but feel comfortable teaching all learners. I have 12 years of extensive experience Teaching High School aged students who receive Special Education services. I have taught English 1-4 as well as Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Furthermore, I have also taught World History, US History, Government and Economics. Additionally, I am fluent in both English and Spanish and have experience working with English Learners and also tutoring students who are learning Spanish.
Throughout my teaching career I have tutored both in person and virtually, when on breaks from the school year. I believe in providing tutoring sessions in which I can incorporate concepts in a fun and concise manner. I have a broad understanding of Mathematics, Social Sciences, and Language Arts at an advanced level and strive to convey my love for these subjects onto my students.
My mission is to help tutees succeed in your respective endeavors, whether it is by helping you with homework, preparing for your next big test, and/or remediating any learning loss. I am here to help you!
