My method involves combining the timeless principles of great storytelling with an individual’s unique voice to create writing that resonates and pops with readers, whether they be teachers or university officials. In my 35 years as a professional, I’ve not only worked on staff at the LA Times, ESPN and LA Weekly but devoted much of my time to mentoring young writers while directing intern programs and teaching at the university level. (I also “coach” those writing autobiographies; currently I’m working with a former NBA coach.) My writers produce text that is not only clear and concise but true to who they are allowing them to stand out from those producing mundane, factory-taught writing.
