My name is Andrew. I am currently a Substitute Teacher for the San Mateo-Foster City School District, as well as tutor of Pre-K through middle school. Over the Summer of 2018 I was the Outreach Intern for the San Mateo County Libraries at Millbrae & Half Moon Bay. I did my student teaching at Baywood in San Mateo. I have tutored children ranging from 1st grade to 10th grade. I currently tutor 4 students after school. I enjoy seeing that "eureka'" moment in students eyes. That is one reason I teach.
As an experienced teacher, I have developed a passion and personal commitment to helping my students succeed. I have helped create successful individual education plans, and have received positive feedback from parents and fellow educators alike for my abilities in the classroom.
I am looking for more students to tutor an opportunity to do some babysitting for some extra money on the weekends. My rates for tutoring are $40/hr, babysitting $25/hr/child.
