Although I graduated from California State University of Long Beach with a degree in Economics my initial academic path consisted of becoming a teacher, which is how I ended up studying different levels of mathematics for several years, as well as tutoring different levels, before deciding to change paths to work for corporate world. I have a broad conceptual understanding of mathematics and I take pride in conveying my love for math onto my students in ways they can understand and embrace.
