Hello,
I am an outgoing science graduate with a passion for learning and teaching. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BS in Human Biology and love all things science! Go Banana Slugs! I have experience tutoring clients both independently and in small groups. I am able to focus on a client’s specific needs and point them in the direction for success while assisting them in improving scores and retaining information learned. I utilize question based learning to lead students to correct answers on their own with the guidance of a tutor and reteach information as needed. By meeting for one hour, I am able to personalize lessons and maximize tutoring sessions in order for students to improve grades and test scores while retaining the information learned.
Aside from tutoring, I am currently pursuing a career in medicine as an ER Physician’s Assistant. I have worked and volunteered as an EMT for the past 4 years and have been a member of the emergency department team as an ER scribe. I look forward to hearing from you!
