I specialize in one-on-one test prep tutoring for the ACT Math & Science, SAT Math section, SAT Subject (Math and Chemistry), and ISEE exam all levels. I'm also an academic tutor for a variety of subjects such as math, chemistry and biology courses (from middle school to college level). If the need arises, I can tutor in small classroom settings as well.
I think of myself both as a teacher and a mentor. My approach is to listen to the student's needs to assess his or her areas of weaknesses, then design a unique lesson plan for the student accordingly. My goal is not only to bring my students' test scores to the highest percentiles possible while mastering their academic courses, but also to equip them with essential tools and study skills to succeed even without the presence of a tutor.
