I have been a classroom teacher for 22 years and have taught both primary and upper grades. I love being able to provide students with any strategy I can to help them to be successful. I am very out of the box in my instruction, meaning, I don't feel like I have to stick with traditional means of teaching. If it isn't working, then let's find what will work best for you. My goal is to help you be successful in school, but have fun while you are learning. I have spent a lot of my career specializing in instruction with second language learners, at risk students, as well as GATE students. I am a lead teacher in my district in implementing and training my colleagues in the Common Core State Standards.
