About Nicholas

I have experience working with urban and sub-urban students of various ages: ranging from teenagers to Adults. I believe that my experience as a writing tutor and my passion for community engagement & growth makes me an excellent candidate to tutor your child.

I am a CSUEB graduate, and am proficient in college level reading, writing, analysis, research, etc. I have experience tutoring students in both private and public settings. As a student-tutor at CSUEB’s SCAA I have had experience helping students with their writing from multiple disciplines and subjects, as well as having different learning styles. CSUEB is a very diverse school and I have experience working with people of various cultures, religions and walks of life, and I believe that my varied experience will make me a valuable tutor. Although I have never tutored History or Social Studies, due to my excellent research and preparation skills, paired with my deep interest and passion for history, I feel that I may be well suited for that position as well.

I aim to use my experience and education as well as my ability to be compassionate, enthusiastic and relatable to be the tutor that these young students so desperately need. As a tutor I will make a positive contribution to your program, as well as a lasting impact on the students I work with. I am looking forward to hearing back from you as well as learning any way that I can better serve as a tutor for your child.
