About Kailin

I have 8+ years of experience tutoring middle and high school students in biology and chemistry. I have also been a certified tutor with ThinkTank Learning for over 4 years, teaching high school biology and AP test prep.

My teaching style focuses on bringing key concepts together through diagrams, written notes, and plenty of practice problems. This blended approach helps students absorb the material better and stay engaged in class. Students and parents can also text/email me outside of class hours and I will respond within 12 hours. I involve parents regularly by sending monthly progress reports.

I grew up and went to school in Cupertino, California, one of the most academically competitive areas in the country, so I understand how stressful constant competition can be for both students and parents. I strive to help students achieve top scores by focusing on and unlocking their own potential. With this approach, students will not only do well on exams through high school, but also develop smart learning skills and habits that will enable success in college and beyond.
