I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology @ Argosy University in Chicago, IL. I have several years of experience in both clinical and educational (online and on campus) realms. Most recently, I have taught online for Edmonds Community College in Washington State. While working as a psychologist, I gained experience evaluating and providing intervention for children and adolescents with a variety of school-based issues. I am available to tutor elementary, middle school and/or high school kids and teens in the areas of English and/or Psychology. I am friendly, approachable and easily develop rapport with clients/students, all of which I think are important in developing a successful teaching/tutor relationship with my students. I believe in active participation and practice of new concepts in order to reach mastery of new material. I also believe that progress is attained when you meet a student where they are at and challenge that student with information just above their mastery level, with individualized support.
