I am a University of Northern Iowa graduate with an English major. I taught middle school students for 39 years. I am currently retired. I especially like to tutor in writing, but I also enjoy tutoring any English related classes. Tutoring in relation to the English state standards for a specific grade is a priority for me. On the other hand, I have tutored students who need help with their daily English homework. Many students are familiar with the six traits of writing and that would be the rubric I would use to evaluate student writing. I love to smile!
