I have been teaching classes in Photography for over ten years at the Los Angeles Center of Photography, and currently lead several on-location workshops as well. I have tutored and trained groups and individuals in Adobe Photoshop for over twenty years and in Adobe Lightroom since its inception.
I have worked as a professional commercial and editorial photographer in New York and Los Angeles for over twenty-five years. For much of that period, I owned and ran a small photo agency that represented over 40 photographers (including myself) and this enabled me to become proficient with all aspects of digital image management including workflow, cataloging, metadata storage, archiving and copyright protection and licensing.
I help my students with solutions, whether it is learning how to use a digital camera and apply basic photo techniques and principles, or teaching people how to organize and manage a collection of several thousand images. I work patiently with my students and classes, making sure I listen and understand their specific needs and then setting up a course that will best communicate and demonstrate the answers to those needs.
