About Sana

I have over ten years of experiences in tutoring students! I have taught math, science, language arts, social studies, and fine arts to students in the elementary grades! Additionally, I have taught higher level students, in middle school and high school, in many subjects which include AP biology, AP chemistry, physics, AP U.S. history, world history, English/ ESL, and SAT/ACT tests. I had also studied in two fields, Biological Sciences and Education Sciences, during my undergraduate career at the University of California, Irvine. After completing my undergraduate career at University of California, Irvine, I worked at academy centers, agencies, companies, as well as online companies, teaching children a wide array of subjects. I have also completed coursework for the multiple subjects teaching credential and will only have student teaching left to complete. I have gained valuable experiences during my journey working at these academy centers with the most experienced team members and educators in the field. Some of my work experiences include working at Think Together, Elite Tutoring, TutorNerds, and Destination Science! At Think Together, I worked inside the classrooms for kindergarten to sixth grade students as the Program Leader teaching students subject areas that included: mathematics, English language arts, writing, and science. As the program leader for the children, I helped monitor the students’ learning inside as well as outside the classroom, such as in the playing fields while playing sports and performing exercise activities. Serving as the program leader has truly been a rewarding experience! After gaining valuable experiences serving as the program leader for Think Together, I worked at some of the well – known tutoring platforms and agencies such as TutorNerds, Elite Tutoring, and Destination Science. At Elite, I tutored students from Germany who were non-native English speakers English/ESL. I had also tutored English to children from Taiwan through an online learning platform that is based in Taiwan. At TutorNerds, I taught high – school students many science courses such as chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science, as well as mathematics, such as Algebra 2. Destination Science was a science camp, where I worked with students on hands - on science experiments.
In addition to my role in teaching inside the classrooms, I have also collaborated with my peers in the education field on creating new innovative ideas for implementing technology and resources into the classrooms, delivering presentations on research in the academic settings and schools, working on STEM projects with students as well as engaging in many project - based learning tasks and hands - on experiments in the fields of science and arts!
Teaching students is my passion! And I believe that with my years of experiences in working with children and devotion for teaching, I can definitely help students in all aspects of life!
