Hello everyone, my name is Rudy Razo and I am a current LAUSD credentialed teacher. I recently graduated this summer from Pepperdine with a masters in Education. I have been tutoring since 2013-14. I first got my start tutoring low-income children with disabilities in La Verne, CA with an organization called CLASP inc. I later tutored adults in prison the same years in Norco, CA through the Prison Education Project. From 2013-15 I was also a freelance tutor. in 2015 after I graduated with my political science degree from Cal Poly Pomona, I decided to move to South Korea. It was a great experience teaching English to foreign students from 2015-16. When I returned back, I worked in the corporate world until I decided to pursue my masters last Summer. I was able to receive my credential and degree with a 3.9 GPA. I enjoy teaching students of all ages as I have experience with all age groups. Watching students progress and communicating with each family is something I strive for. Building a quality connection and ensuring students are putting their best effort forward is what enables me to be the best educator I can be.
