I recently earned my PhD in Earth and Planetary Science from UC-Berkeley in December of 2018. As a geochemist, I combine excellence in writing, reading comprehension, math, and science on a daily basis. I have teaching experience at many levels - from elementary school, to university undergrads, to professional development of middle school instructors. I love bringing fun to the learning experience, because subjects can be so much more than what's found in textbooks. I am a strong believer in having a growth mindset when it comes to learning and life -- some things aren't easy at first, but you can have a 100% success rate if you never give up.
