After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, I became a Senior Specialist with the United States Government. Within the first few years, I earned my Masters of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix. I then found a passion for teaching. I hold teaching certificates in career and technical education and speech communication. I also specialize in test preparation, such as SAT, ACT, etc. I have experience in elementary education. I'm currently seeking my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Northwest Missouri State University. While teaching, I always sought ways to engage my students. I became an AVID instructor/tutor (Advancement Via Individual Determination) in 2020 in order to broaden my reach and help more students become more engaged and empowered.
