I practiced social work for almost 20 years, primarily in the adult mental health field. But in 2016, I decided to make a career change. I'm currently in the second (and final) year of Arkansas' alternative teacher certification program. I'm provisionally licensed/certified to teach English grades 4-12. Last year I taught 6th grade English, and hopefully I'll be teaching again this year. I love it!
I've always been a talented writer and voracious reader. I created and wrote a blog, and I've finally started a novel (my dream!). Proofreading and correcting grammar is my favorite thing to do!
