I love to solidify the knowledge I've acquired by teaching others. It is a privilege and an honor to be able to be trusted with helping others. My experience working with students spans from the ages of middle school to college students. I've been associated with learntobe before joining Varsity Tutors and was also an SI leader in chemistry. I got a 33 on my ACT overall and was an ACT tutor for some students. I am currently in school to obtain a major in biomedical engineering from UAB. I have a minor in both math and chemistry. I am working towards a doctorate of medicine (MD). I tutor everything from ACT prep to Spanish (1-3) to math to natural sciences (e.g., chemistry, physics, and biology [nothing with plants though]). I love all the subjects I teach equally because they are all unique and are all engaging. My tutoring style starts by asking basic questions to gauge the student's knowledge and keep digging until I get to the point where that knowledge starting to lag. I try to connect large concepts to the small details of the subject so the student can make varying inferences about the subject independently on test day. One fun fact about me is I love planes.
