I served for two years as a missionary in Japan where I primarily spoke Japanese. I taught lots of other missionaries Japanese. I absolutely loved teaching people, and still do! It's actually difficult for me to stop teaching people Japanese! It makes me awkward at parties, but an effective tutor. I also have a passion for literary analysis, and it's one of the major focuses of my studies, so I can absolutely help with anything novel or play related.
I have tutored many students in Python with great success. I have guided students through all kinds of Python programming assignments and projects involving both functional and object-oriented programming. I have found many times, that a fresh pair of eyes looking over a tough or confusing problem can be a great help in finding a prompt solution. Especially when the person helping has been in the same place as the student.
