Hi my name is Austin Marrero and I have been tutoring for about 6 years. Part of my teaching experience comes from my time as a teaching assistant for chemistry, calculus, and physics courses as well as time I spent working at a student learning center. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in both chemical engineering in chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
I have an extensive background in biochemistry and biomedical science. I've been tutoring in the life sciences and chemistry since my time as an undergraduate. I've both taken and prepared students for the MCAT and other extensive exams like the GRE. I primarily specialize in test prep but I can also help with general assignments and concepts.
I have been teaching for over ten years in the public and private sector. Subjects ranging from Trigonometry, Algebra, Geometry, Economics, Biology, US AP History. I am a published author. I enjoy patiently working with students to ensure they understand subject matter required to successfully complete either secondary and post-secondary coursework. I run a tight ship so being on time and having questions prepared will make the time spent in being tutored more efficient and effective. Your success in ... See more

When you are flying down the streets of Tampa, it can seem like there is nobody that can slow you down. With the wind blowing through your hair, you feel the exhilaration when the rubber meets the road. But in Tampa, you will notice quickly that police, especially motorcycle cops, are hiding behind the corners to nab you with some points and a hefty fine.
When you are in need of Biology tutors in Tampa, it can come sneaking up on you just the same. You could be studying every night, participating in class, and doing well on your labs, but when a problem comes, you are left holding the bag. With biology tutors, you can make sure that you are at the perfect speed when the trap comes along.
I was the type that rushed ahead of the rest of my class. I was always bored, raising my hand so much that I would not get called on anymore. This would either lead to arm soreness or just stopping participation entirely. I struggled to match the pace of the class, but I also did not feel like I needed a science tutor.
Just because you are the fastest in class, it does not mean you are free from struggle. When a concept comes up that you do not understand, you are completely alone, as your teacher is not there yet. When you use a Tampa Biology tutor, you can be sure that you are never left alone while pushing forward at your pace.

After graduation, I was presented with the opportunity to join a network of USC alumni providing tutoring services to the surrounding community. Through this network, I began tutoring elementary and middle school students in their homes, gaining more subject experience and acquiring a ... See more

Hi, I'm Elizabeth. Tutoring has been a passion of mine for 4 years now, especially in subjects like chemistry and biology. I know how difficult these subjects can be, so my approach is to explain the material like one student to another. Ultimately, I want all of my clients to know the material just as, if not better, than myself so they can be as prepared as possible on their academic and career journey.
In a big city like Tampa, it can be pretty hard to get around on just surface streets. In the hustle and bustle of town, you need highways to get everyone where they need to go. In the human body, the circulatory system is what serves as a highway for blood to get through the body. The heart, lungs, arteries, veins, and coronary and portal vessels all work together to distribute oxygen through the body. With Biology tutoring in Tampa, you will learn all about how the circulatory system works.
The average human pumps 2,000 gallons of blood through 60,000 miles of blood vessels every day. With all of that going on, a bottleneck in the process can prove fatal for many. Cardiovascular episodes are highly common and heart disease is the leading cause of death. On the medical front, improving heart health is among the most important challenges we face as humanity. With Tampa tutors, you will solidify your foundation in the basic concepts of how the heart works, so you can one day help save hearts in the future.
