I graduated from CSULB this year and now I am focusing in obtaining my teaching credential. I love learning and teaching history to young students to help them better understand the world we live in. I believe that history is important for students to learn because history does not write itself. I strongly believe that making sure students understand why the world is the way it is will help them understand their surroundings and world.
I have an English degree from the University of Houston and have been tutoring students for two years and have one year of coaching experience. I believe that one of the most important aspects of learning is a providing students an environment in which they can succeed. Even if a student does not understand a subject or concept, it is our jobs as teachers to help students build the connections necessary to learn and grow.
