I am a recent graduate of the Animal Science program at Texas Tech University. I was a well-rounded student: I minored in chemistry, tutored in accounting, and took every opportunity to learn. I hope to instill the same drive and love for learning in others.
I worked as a tutor at Texas Tech University for a year teaching students with learning disabilities. This experience taught me how to be a better, more individualized teacher for my students and I believe it made me capable of making a difference in my students’ lives.
As a passionate student myself, I am here to guide other students to success as well. Being the president of my high school’s National Honor Society allowed me to gain over 20 hours of tutoring experience, where I helped students get organized and see significant improvement on their homework grades.
I love teaching! I have taught every age from 6 weeks old to 20 years old. Math and Science are my favorite subjects! I currently help teach math to 3rd- 8th graders. I enjoy hula hooping in my free time! I look forward to meeting all of your wonderful smiling faces!
