Howdy, My name is Sanjaya Lamichhane. I usually go by Jay (easier to pronounce). Recently I graduated as a Finance major from UMASS Dartmouth. I moved from Boston to Dallas for a job at Amazon. I love math and tutoring Algebra 1, 2, trig and, pre algebra, I love challenging myself and learning new materials. Currently I am working to get better at SQL and R studio to understand data mining and machine learning better.
I preferred to be called Ms. Cindy. I am pursuing a bachelors degree in public health at Texas A&M University- Commerce. The end goal is to open up my own practice and be a therapist for early childhood and adolescent children. I also have experience in teaching elementary and middle schoolers. I have a passion for children when it comes to their education and making sure they understand everything they are taught either inside or outside school.
I have a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) with 2 years teaching experience at USM and 2 years at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). My teaching experience includes: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus I - III and Differential Equations. I am passionate about Mathematics and believe that everyone - given the appropriate resources and learning strategies - can master Mathematics.

I am currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from UT Dallas and have 3 years of experience peer tutoring high school students, especially in math and science. I have worked with students of all ages, and I take a holistic approach to tutoring where the tutoring is mutual.
