HeyTutor Selected to Join National Student Support Accelerator Tutoring Provider Advisory Group with Stanford University

The NSSA is devoted to translating promising research about how tutoring can benefit students into action on the ground

LOS ANGELES (January 25, 2024) – HeyTutor, one of the largest in-person tutoring companies in the United States, is proud to announce they have been selected to join the prestigious National Student Support Accelerator (NSSA) as a member of the Tutoring Provider Advisory Group, a program under the Stanford Accelerator for Learning and EdSolutions at Stanford University.

Formed in 2020 by a group of nationally recognized education experts in response to the learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the NSSA’s mission is to accelerate the growth of high-impact tutoring opportunities for K-12 students. The NSSA focuses on building consensus around standards and research; providing open access tools and technical assistance to schools, districts and states interested in implementing high-impact tutoring; and engaging stakeholders to ensure funding.

Members of the Tutoring Provider Advisory Group serve as a bridge between research and practice, offering critical insights from the perspective of tutoring providers to educators and researchers.
