I am a recent graduate from Seattle University and am taking a year off to apply to graduate school. I hope to get a PhD in Physics, but with an emphasis on atmospheric dynamics.
I have been working for my schools tutoring program for the last three years. Which gives me years of experience working one on one with students in classes ranging from algebra to E/M physics.
I believe that to be successful in math and physics one has to have a deep underlying knowledge of the theory behind the concepts. I focus on making sure that students develop a strong understanding of theory while also developing the problem solving skills required to be successful in the class.
Rock climbing has been my passion for nearly for the last 5 years. If I am not working or in school, my friends can always find me either at the local climbing gym or outside backpacking.
