Hi, my name is Ailie! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in English as well as a minor in Writing. I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in writing, but it wasn't until I reached college that I was began to see it as more than a hobby. I realized that it was something that I could build a career on and develop my skills, not only as a writer but as a tutor.
Throughout my college years, I had a lot of amazing professors, especially in the English department, and they were a huge inspiration to me. Whenever I had a question or needed help with an assignment, they were more than happy to offer it. I find that my own teaching methods mirror that of my professors'. I consider myself to be a fair, hard-working, and open-minded individual. No matter what question a student has, I'm always willing to answer it and give the best feedback possible.
I have a year of tutoring experience, specializing in English and Literature. I worked primarily with college students who needed help with essays, articles, PowerPoint presentations, and various other assignments. I also have a lot of experience using Microsoft as well as Google Docs and I'm more than happy to provide any help with technical issues.
My goal is to help my students as much as possible so they can reach their full potential. I'm always willing to listen to what they have to say and offer the best resources they can use. Should you have any other questions or would like to schedule a lesson, feel free to contact me!
