About Jesse

Great to meet you, I'm Jesse. I'm not exactly your standard tutor. While most will drill you through problems, we will have a conversation, taking the time for you to develop an understanding of each concept from the ground up.

My students don't memorize; instead, they understand. I have extensive experience teaching Math and Statistics, both of which I hold minors in from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, along with my econometrics degree.

I also work with test preparation students; I specialize in helping hundreds of my students improve their exam scores, getting into the colleges of their dreams, and earning valuable scholarships. Personally, I scored a perfect ACT score and in the 99th percentile on the SAT in 2015.
