I just received my Bachelors degree in biology. While in school that is when I began tutoring multiple math subjects for over a year. I have worked with 3rd grade to high school seniors. Although my degree is biology, I love tutoring math subjects because I feel like math is a useful skill that can be applied to everyday life. Especially with older students, I make math relative to help with understanding. I also like to ensure that the basic concepts have been mastered before we just add onto an incomplete foundation. Math can be really fun, but sometimes it requires a lot of extra practice. These techniques can also be applied to learning many other subjects.
