HeyTutor prides itself on an 82% diverse tutor workforce, with 30% of our tutors fluent in a variety of languages. With access to a diverse range of highly qualified tutors, HeyTutor is the ideal choice for your school district.

    • We deploy hundreds of tutors to support EL students in languages including Spanish, Arabic, Pashtun, French, Bengali, and more.
    • HeyTutor’s curriculum for EL students incorporates various features to promote language acquisition and academic success.

    What Can Bilingual Tutoring Look Like?

    Inglewood USD

    85 bilingual tutors, primarily Spanish, Pushing in to K-1-2 classrooms to support English Learners.

    Sweetwater USD

    25 bilingual tutors pushing into ELD 1-2-3-4 classrooms for Grades 6-12 fluent in Spanish, Russian and Pakistani.

    Vallejo USD

    Our trained EL tutors support bilingual students by pushing into core classes and helping with ELPAC testing and data tracking.

    HeyTutor Curriculum Supports EL Students

     

    • HeyTutor’s curriculum is designed to support English Learners (EL) by incorporating various features that address their unique needs and promote language acquisition and academic success.
    • Vocabulary that may be unfamiliar to EL students is highlighted in the tutor notes, facilitating discussion and comprehension.
    • Lessons are enriched with visual and graphic supports, such as diagrams, to provide additional clarity and aid in understanding complex topics.
