Marc is on point and extremely knowledgeable. I am completely new to the business world and in need of learning how to use QuickBooks to keep records for my business, produce purchase orders, monitor inventory, etc. Marc has extensive experience in book keeping for major corporations that are similar to what my company could potentially become. He took the time to fully understand my business model/plan before helping understand how to do everything hands on while explaining in depth why we do things certain ways. I highly recommend him.
Patrick is smart, knows Lightroom well (he is a photographer himself) and a computer expert (has a degree in computer science). Adobe makes the most amazing products in America and has the worst customer service in America; Patrick is a solution. It took us 3 hours, but he rescued me from a major external hard drive/Lightroom catalog/failure to import problem that could have shut me down. He is friendly and does not talk down to the computer semi-literates like me. I highly recommend him. DP
Charlotte has her A game on through out my son’s tutoring prep for SAT. She is kind, patient and super smart and knows how to handle hours of teaching. She even pulled a 5 hour tutoring session the day before the exam. We couldn’t be happier. My son wants more time with her. He is autistic and she had to deal with his moods at times but handled it like a therapist. Could give her 10 stars!
Charlotte, you are amazing! Not only can you tutor SAT prep but also research essay summaries and any subject my daughter throws at you. We were truly grateful for your exquisite brain, personality and especially you sense of humor. The humor part is so important to my daughter to break down her defenses and create a open forum for her to navigate smoothly. Thank you again.
Patrick was patient as well as knowledgeable. When I was trying to go a million miles an hour he was able to refocus me on the one task that needed to be done first, and then the second and so on. His feedback while I was coding was a nice little hint letting me know that what I was thinking and doing was on the correct path.
Charlotte has been working with our toddlers for a few weeks, and she's been awesome! After initial reticence on their part, they now look forward to and ask for Charlotte to visit. She's been consistent, firm and patient with them during their lessons. Their phonemic awareness is improving with each lesson!
He did a very good job in explaining the project and the methods that i was having trouble understanding. I enjoyed the visual aids that he would make because they made understanding the topic easier. He did not get frustrated with me when i was having trouble and was very patient
Each lesson gets better and better. Gianna indeed was overthinking problems but hearing it from Mom wasn't cutting it. Charlotte gets through on a different level. If all Heytutor teachers are as great as Charlotte, you can corner the market. Thank you.
Maura is very good with our daughter, 9 years old, they are working on her literacy and writing development. Maura is patient. She has advance degrees in math and has also been helpful in coaching our girl in 4th grade multiplication concepts.
My daughter clicked right away with Charlotte. Her infectious laugh and honesty made it easy for G to learn and be called out for over thinking some of her SAT problems. I thought I would have to supervise but they have a wonderful rhythm.
Patrick Le was such a wonderful tutor who taught and inspired me throughout my computer science coursework. He was always patient, descriptive and explained the material better than my own professors in my opinion. Thank you again!
Charlotte is a fantastic tutor. She has been helping our daughter with Geometry. Our daughter found it very easy to establish rapport with Charlotte as she is very patient with helping her understand the subject matter.
My son is super happy with the way Mrs kwan teach him, this is his second class and he understands more with her that with his teacher at school for the whole year, highly recommend her, thanks so much for the help.
Super super nice and flexible. If you need extra help with a concept, she explains it different ways and will make sure you understand it. She really cares about you and is really flexible with meeting times.
It’s hard to review after one session. Our daughter took an immediate liking to her and she approached her like an adult asking her good questions about her interests so that she can guide a path forward.
My tutor is professional, empathetic, is spot-on on her perception; keep the momentum going without; suggests specific targets to increase my confidence, and follows up with my progress.
My daughter and Charlotte are on the same page...Charlotte can always find a way to get my daughter to understand the problem. That's worth an awful lot in my world!
Charlotte is beyond helpful! I’m tutoring for my ACT, and I honestly feel like i’ve been progressing!! I cannot wait to see what I make on my ACT !!
Charlotte, is hands down one of the best tutors. She stuck with me the entire time throughout my coursework and I was successful in passing my class.
My 10-year-old daughter was very happy with Charlotte. She said Charlotte explained her strategies much better than her actual teacher at school.
