Hello, My name is Kameryn, I am a student at ASU's Ira Fullton School of Engineering. I was previously a math and science tutor at the Gateway Community College Learning Center. I enjoy working with students to find that "AH-HA" moment where their own hard work and thought process brings them to the solution. I believe that, to be a successful tutor, it is my job to aid in the discovery of the process, not the answer.
Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Completed every math course taken by UIC engineering students Experience tutoring privately I believe that the key to effective learning is breaking a problem down into logical steps and understanding the reasoning behind the problem solving process. Knowing the "why" behind everything gives you a much better foundation and a more thorough understanding of the material compared to memorizing concepts alone.
