Hi!
I've been teaching college courses for the last seven years. My courses range from more traditional composition / first-year writing classes, to literature-focused classes.
I specialize in writing composition, 18th- and 19th-century novels, fan culture, digital humanities, and more.
For the last 9 years, I've also tutored students at all age levels (from 4-25) in multiple subject areas, with a special focus on English-language acquisition, reading comprehension, and analytical skills. Over the years, I've worked with student athletes, English language learners, and students with various IEPs.
I like to incorporate fun lesson plan ideas into my teaching as I find it makes learning MUCH easier for students.
