I specialize in teaching chemistry for high school students especially AP Chemistry and IB Chemistry. I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. My aptitude for teaching became evident when I was a teaching assistant, while also pursuing my doctoral degree.
I find teaching challenging and rewarding. As a teacher I foster intellectual curiosity in my students while also motivating them. I aim towards improving the studying methods of individuals and develop their interest in the subject.
Students can be best guided to start thinking as scientists in their primary years of education. Hence, it is crucial that they obtain good training in their formative undergraduate years and I aim towards achieving that. I understand the importance of student-teacher interaction and the effect it has on the student's progress. Hence, my interest in tutoring.
