I work with elementary, high school, ESL and college level students one on one in the areas of Math, Science and English. Moreover, I am quite flexible taking on other subject areas as well, and we can definitely have a chat about those subjects wherever applicable.
I provide help in the following categories: strategic problem-solving, brainstorming, organizing ideas onto paper, time management techniques for tests, applying everything that's learned into concepts, provide mock tests, cumulative exams and tons of motivation!
I hold a bachelor's in Biology and a minor in psychology from the University of British Columbia in Canada. I have experience working with elementary and high school students for almost 8 years now both during undergrad and graduate years. During my university years, I excelled in many chemistry courses. I also tutored chemistry for high school students during that time for 4 years, and also continued to do this during my Masters in Clinical Research.
Mentoring is something I am passionate about and definitely something I would travel an extra mile for when needed to help my students. However, to ensure success, this action must be reciprocated from the student as well. In other words, students must also put in the extra work as well to see those promising results!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I encourage you to begin planning your study schedule ahead!
