Hello! Happened to be a teacher by accident but it ended up being my vocation. Born, raised and educated in France, I started my career in the French Public schools and pursued in the US in 1989 in New England. I have been living in Virginia Beach, VA since 2006.
After all these years, I still love being around young minds and feel that I contribute to their education and hopefully giving them a good sense of what it is to become a sensible, educated and responsible adult.
I teach all subjects at the Elementary level and French and English at the Middle and High school level. I feel that one of my strengths is the capacity of assessing where and why the student gets stuck and does not progress; I take him / her where he / she is at, go over what needs to be taught or retaught and go from there.
There is not One Size fits all; I customize my lessons to fit the student's needs. I also believe that Study skills is essential for success.
