Hi! My name is Kate Javonillo and I am a mathematics student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am studying to become a math professor because math and teaching are my passions. I have been tutoring my peers in Precalculus and Calculus for about a year now and I also work with my younger siblings whenever they may need help. I believe that the best way to help a student is by building a relationship with the student, discovering how they learn best, then creating an individualized study plan. Having control of a subject and understanding concepts that a student may have been struggling with can help them feel confident and comfortable in class and I would love to help your child achieve that.
