Covid-19 has affected many people, including myself, as it made it difficult to find a job after graduation. However, I would still like the opportunity to help students meet their goals and work through their struggles. As a student teacher at Lake Braddock Secondary School, I had the pleasure of teaching both World History II and Government. That being said, I am proficient in many areas of Social Studies. In addition, I have a great passion for American History. I have experience working with students with learning disabilities. Both of the World History II classes I taught were team taught, and the three government classes had several students with IEP's and 504's. To be clear, I am not a certified special education teacher, but I do have experience working with different levels of ability. In addition to helping with subject comprehension, I am a competent writer, so I would be able to assist in paper writing.
