Hello there! My name is Mike Strand and I have to confess, I am a bit of a Psychology nerd. I fell in love with psychology as a Freshman in college when I took Psych 101. To me there is nothing more fascinating than understanding why people think, feel, and act the way they do, and so I have subsequently dedacated my life to this field.
I graduated my bachelors degree summa cum laude (4.0 gps in psych) in 2007 from the University of Central Florida. I then went on to earn a masters degree in psychology from SUNY Buffalo in 2011, and a Doctoral degree in psychology from james Madison University in 2016. I just recently completed a post doctoral fellowship in clinical health psychology at Baylor Scott and White Hospital, and I am currently waiting for my professional psychologist license to be processed by the Texas state board. In the mean time, I am making myself available to you for one-on-one tutoring. I have doctoral training across all areas of psychology, and i am passionate about learning and teaching this stuff.
