I have a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in History from Iona College and La Salle University. For four years, I have been teaching Secondary English, specifically 9th through 11th grade classes (my favorite is American Literature!). As an English teacher, I have experience with reading comprehension and analysis, writing (organization, citing and analyzing evidence, etc.), and grammar. I am certified to teach English, History, and Social Studies, and am preparing to teach US History at the high school level next semester. I am passionate about reading, writing, and all things history-related, and this shows in my teaching.
