Hello! I have a Master's Degree in English Literature and Language. I have been teaching English for about 8 years at the collegiate level. I have taught at Trident Technical College, The Citadel Military College, and at the College of Charleston.
In addition to teaching, I have been working as a writing tutor. I started tutoring writing while earning my BA from Winthrop University. Following graduation, I entered the College of Charleston and the Citadel's joint Master's Program. During my 2 years in graduate school, I worked at the Trident Technical College Writing Center and the Citadel's Writing Center.
Despite the workload that came with teaching, I could not give up my tutoring position. I enjoy providing one-on-one assistance to help students become better writers, readers, and critical thinkers.
