I have tutored fellows students at the College of Charleston from 2017 to early 2019 in German, French, and Portuguese and taught Portuguese conversation from January 2018 until present.
In addition to the studied languages I speak, read and write proficiently in Spanish and Italian and have working proficiency in Dutch, Polish (grandparents from Poland and studied there in summer 2016), Danish, and Swedish.
In 2017, I worked as an article editor and translator in a research group with focus on global sustainability in Florianopolis, Brazil.
I have also worked as a German/Spanish-to-English translator in addition to my tutoring/instructing academic positions at the Mercedes-Benz Vans plant in Ladson, South Carolina.
I currently work at an international language school where I predominantly teach German and English to professionals and people of all ages with topics ranging from test prep to a variety of technical lexicons.
I look forward to working with many of you.
