Hello! I'm Amy, an energetic, positive teaching professional with an abundance of successful teaching and tutoring experience, utilizing various innovative teaching methods that have all proven to be successful! I make tutoring sessions fun and exciting for all grade levels, which is often absent in the typical school setting.
I’m qualified to teach elementary level reading, writing, phonics, grammar, math, science, spelling, and social studies. In addition, I'm qualified in high school sciences, such as biology, chemistry, and physics; and all math subjects, up to and including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. I hold a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Marywood University and a Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate in ECE, (although my certificate is currently expired as of last summer), I have years of teaching and tutoring experience working with preK, middle school, and high school students.
I promise to make tutoring sessions FUN and designed according to the students’ interests. Most importantly, students I tutor LEARN and bring home quizzes, tests, projects (my FAVE!), and report cards that make their parents, teachers, and themselves PROUD! 100! A+A+A+
