About Jeremiah

Hello there!

As an individual who attended four years of medical school in the United States, I feel confident I will be able to tutor you in an effective, efficient, and enjoyable manner to help you reach your highest academic goals!

To briefly share my background, I am a fourth year medical student who graduated with an English degree from Rutgers University in 2008. I have a broad experience teaching students of all ages and backgrounds a wide range of subjects, including:

• Shelf Exam Preparation for medical students.
• MCAT Instructor for The Princeton Review
• Chemistry and Biology Teaching Assistant at Stockton University
• English Instructor at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Kumon Math and Learning Center, and Philadelphia Futures

My approach is to be passionate about science and literature and to share that passion with the students I encounter and teach! I am based in the Center City area of Philadelphia and typically meet students at the local campus library of University of Pennsylvania. • USMLE Licensure: achieved proficiency in biochemistry, genetics, physiology, neuroanatomy, gross anatomy, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology in cumulative licensure exam.
• Completed specialty with passing shelf exams in: obstetrics-gynecology, surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, and family medicine.
• Interned at multiple hospitals throughout the greater Pennsylvania area in different specialties.
• Wrote and orally presented history of present illness and past medical history, analyzed medical records and key laboratory results, made recommendations on patient treatment.
• Presented researched medical topics of discussion to attending-led grand rounds using medical journals and case studies.
