About John

Hello!

Thank you for considering me as your next tutor for chemistry or environmental science. I know these courses can seem confusing at first, but with some guidance, you or your student will be feeling comfortable with the material very soon.

I have been teaching chemistry and earth science at the community college level for the past 2 years and very much enjoy the interactions that I have in this particular setting. Tutoring is much like teaching at the community college, because each student comes with a different learning background and it's my job to accommodate those differences. I will be able to take my classroom knowledge and help you become better prepared for your current course. My teaching style is flexible, personalized to your unique course needs, and enjoyable. I really enjoy these topics and I hope you will too!

I can meet in person or do online sessions. I have a plethora of college level resources to utilize for sessions, from extra problems to recorded video lectures, so you will certainly not be lacking for material to focus on.
