About Nicole

Earned my master's of arts degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, summa cum laude (4.0), in May 2019. I have experience tutoring in English and Writing Composition as a Professional Writing Tutor at a local community college, working with students ranging in age from 18 to 56. I have also taught JLM 401: Media Ethics in Contemporary Society at a local college, in addition to my current full-time career as a local news reporter. I believe in engaging my students in a positive way that doesn't intimate, but allows them to have fun and feel relaxed while learning. In my tutoring position I often stayed over hours or made adjustments in order to serve my students if they needed me. Same went for my undergrad students. There's no obstacle we can't handle together. My experience helping you learn, in turn, teaches me how to become a better educator as I strive to enter a teaching career.
