I have over 25 years of tutoring, teaching and coaching students in schools and privately to be successful with their education.
I have a Masters in Education and have 17 years of experience working in junior high and high schools. In addition to having been a school guidance counselor, I taught English, math and public speaking in an after school program. For the last five years I have been working with students in K-12, tutoring all subjects at tutoring agencies on Long Island. My specialties are teaching creative writing, public speaking and elementary math.
Currently I am a college consultant and public speaking coach. I work with families going through the college application process. My specialty is helping students create their list of schools to apply to and brainstorm and write the college application essays. I teach classes at libraries on how to write college application essays. I have also coached college students for their medical school interviews.
