About Brenna

I'm a recent graduate from NYU who's tutoring part-time while I pursue a full-time career in the performing arts. Some of my notable academic achievements were graduating as salutatorian of my class in high school and receiving college credit (with a score of 4 or 5) on 11 Advanced Placement Exams, allowing me to graduate college a full year early, which I did with honors in my major.
Since elementary school, my tutoring experience has been expansive, as I've always been happy to help my friends, classmates, teammates, and siblings with their schoolwork. I volunteered through Mu Alfa Theta honors society and National Honors society to tutor math and the humanities, respectively. I am most confident in tutoring English grammar, writing, and literary analysis, but am comfortable with all subjects for K-8th graders. I was lucky enough to have bright and inspiring teachers throughout my education who gave me the enthusiasm, encouragement, and practical help I needed to succeed academically. I'm honored to pass along this same support to the next generation of students.
