My bachelor’s degree in Philology and Languages and most recent position as a Spanish Teacher for different Schools in the United States have helped shape me into a skilled instructor in teaching Spanish as a second language. All my work experience, in addition to my varied English-teaching experiences in Colombia, have given me the opportunity to develop my skills in implementing the use of multiple resources to inform my instruction, to construct project-based activities and to add cultural elements to my classes. All of these teaching strategies have contributed to the motivation and interest that my students hold in learning and improving their language development and knowledge.
